Every Single Time

It's like someone gives Tiny Boy my work schedule as a suggestion about when to get sick.

As per usual....I have a guest writer in, and he woke up Wednesday morning (4:45 am!) with a cough.  He didn't want to go to school; I didn't see why he shouldn't.  Made it through yesterday and then had a low grade fever last night.  And sounded all kinds of horrible.  This morning I kept him home to give him albuterol and chill out...and then I brought him to school so I could take the writer out to lunch w/students.  He made it through the last half of the school day and is now sacked out in front of the TV; babysitter will be here in a little while so I can go back to campus.  And if he needs to stay home tomorrow, well, at least the big part of the event is done.  Oy.

  1. Ugh, I know this pain. WHY! How do those viral pathogens get a hold of our work schedules?
