Ten Years

For those of you who have been reading this blog forever I write a throwback post to say it's been exactly a decade since the day I found out I was pregnant with Tiny Boy, after taking a home pregnancy test probably way too soon.  If you've been reading that long, you know there was a lot of drama <ahem> that followed. Somehow that little embryo stuck around and turned into a 9-year-old boy child who came home from school talking about some horrible lesson that was "insulting to mothers and video games." (HUH?!)

Anyway, I wouldn't care about St. Patrick's Day but I have that.  And this year I have a martini glass and some Midori with which to celebrate.

  1. Sounds like a better reason to celebrate St. Patrick's day than the regular reasons! Now I'll have to go back and read your post from waaaaay back then. It's amazing how quickly the time flies!

  2. What a nice anniversary to celebrate. I don't think I remember the exact date I found out I was pregnant with B. I didn't blog and I didn't journal---I did take a trip that day, so maybe I have some record of the flight somewhere?

  3. I wonder if I would remember this date if it didn't also coincide with a holiday. I don't remember when I found out I was pregnant with LG (roughly but not exactly) but that was almost 18 years ago (OMG I'm old!)

    1. I don’t remember the date I found out I was pregnant, but for some reason I remember the date of my LMP prior to the pregnancy. Weirdness.
