Surprise! Or, a Post with Multiple Beginnings
Clear Blue Easy? Apparently not so clear.

So I had an unexpected IUI this morning, after something that looked like it might end up being positive on the OPK in a few hours. Then we saw the collapsing follicles. Then Dr. Gorgeous had me trigger and started the andrologist thawing my specimen.

You know that thing I keep saying, how it's never what I expect? Yeah, I didn't see this one coming at all.

I got home, like half an hour ago, and realized I was cramping and sitting in a puddle of blood. Blood clots after an IUI? I've probably done something like 40 IUIs between LG and now and this one's new for me.

All that hope I had yesterday? Let's just say that when Dr. Gorgeous starts seeing patients in my town@!@! next month I'll be lined up to see her. Fuck.

But, hey, I still treated myself to Indian food.
