You know, the kind where you need to get the kid to school early so she can go on her field trip to the pumpkin patch while you go to the RE's office to have your ovaries examined and then rush back to school in time for your first class, which also happens to involve a field trip of sorts, before going back to the office, peeing on a stick, scarfing down lunch, making a couple handouts and going back to the RE's office for an actual consult (that was supposed to happen over the phone last Tuesday), after which you rush back to the office, where you find a student waiting for the office hours you forgot to cancel, so you chat with her briefly, make another handout in about five minutes, fill your water bottle, and bolt across campus for your last class; then you get home, reheat some meatloaf and give yourself a shot in the abdomen while your four-year-old takes a bath. Yeah, one of those days.
But, happily, I believe I did not surge before I gave myself the trigger shot. IUI #2 scheduled for 8:20 am Wednesday morning. Then the fun really begins...
Now, I am going to make a cup of decaffeinated tea and ignore the stack of papers I need to grade.
