In Which I Contemplate Becoming an RE

Well, my cycle seems to be going moderately better than last time, insofar as I have several follicles in that 8-10 range and more than several at "less than 8" (they really don't measure anything under 10, for the most part). I wouldn't say I'm feeling confident about this cycle, but it's feeling less doomed from the start.

And you should know, I've been monkeying with all my doses, as I figured it couldn't possibly be any worse than last time, and it might just help. Things Dr. Gorgeous does not know: I started taking heparin already, I'm taking more follistim (up 75 IU) and less menopur (down 75 IU), and 20 units of MDL is more like 16 (yeah, whatever). Two of my three pregnancies (including the one that resulted in LG) involved me doing things I wasn't "supposed to." Perhaps the third time is the charm.

I'll update with E2 later. I'm guessing 200.

Update: E2 at 248 (compared to 48 this time last cycle). Instructed to stay at my same doses (which I will), return Thursday for monitoring, at which point I will likely come off lupron and restart Ganirelix. I'm not letting myself think that this might actually happen, but things seem to be moving in the right direction, at least. Fingers crossed, blogfriends!

  3. Thanks for the concern, Michele. I've got reasons, and Dr. Google has my back. I wouldn't do anything REALLY stupid :)
