(a post inspired by Irrational Exuberance, as I haven't done one of these in a long while)
300--roughly the number of pages I have left in The Marriage Plot, which came recommended by a former student, as well as Dr. Crazy. I think I need to teach it, whenever I get back to teaching novels again. It's like Blue Angel meets The Secret History plus something else I can't think of right now.

60--minutes scheduled for a massage on Saturday morning, as my mama will be watching Tiny Boy and LG
24--number of cupcakes required for LG to bring to school tomorrow
12 and 5/7--weeks of Tiny Boy's life in the world
12--approximately the number of diapers I change daily
9--kids who will be at LG's birthday tea on Saturday
8--LG's age as of tomorrow at 9:32 pm
7--official work days left of maternity leave
7--usual loads of laundry I wash in a week, 3 of which are diapers
5--the hour at which Tiny Boy's snorting becomes too much for either of us to sleep through
4--consecutive hours that Tiny Boy napped yesterday
4--number of times I have squirted saline up Tiny Boy's nose and attempted a snot removal (yes, Tiny Boy has his first cold)
3--number of coffee/lunch dates I have attempted to arrange for next week
2--number of coffee/lunch dates actually scheduled for next week
1.5--ounces of milk I pumped this morning until I gave up and let Tiny Boy finish it off
1--days left until LG's birthday
