Progesteroney

When I went to have my blood drawn this morning, the phlebotomist commented that I looked tired. Granted, I didn't have any makeup on, but I did indeed feel tired. Exhausted. Annihilated. I've been fighting myself all day to stay awake and get just a little bit of something written. Yesterday I felt woozy in a way that I only associate with high progesterone/early pregnancy.

Still, I was, well, stunned to hear my progesterone level:

50.12 [but when I called back to make sure I didn't mishear fifteen, I was told 55. hmmm.]

Usually, on my current level of supplementation, it runs about 30.

I'm not dumb enough to think that high progesterone level in any way indicates pregnancy, but this is interesting, isn't it?

Now I just have to keep myself awake for another hour before LG's kindergarten class party.

  2. I remember my nurse always saying the higher the progesterone, the better.... Fingers doubly crossed!!!

  3. Thanks for the good wishes. I guess it works like this: high progesterone can't be a bad thing, but isn't necessarily a good thing. My highest levels have *never* translated to pregnancy... I am thinking this probably means the third follicle produced a decent corpus luteum, though.
