That's a good thing! You hand in the tenure case and get it off your desk, and can then guilt-free move your attention to getting LG a sibling. Sounds ideal to me! (although a day for some planning out the talk with Dr. G might have been nice, but what the heck.)
I'm really sorry about the negative -- I was really hoping that you'd beat the odds this time.
I think the timing is fortuitous, and means something, like phases ending and new beginnings and other hokey stuff like that. But I actually believe it.
Oh, girls, I've played that game too many times. Like, I was destined to get pregnant this last cycle because my IUI was the same date as my miscarriage last year. Or, a due date of my mother's birthday has to be a good thing. Or...
