I got out of class 20 minutes ago. I have already reheated and eaten my lentil soup (I like it, and it's on my approved foods list!). I have four (no, make that three) minutes until my office hours start. I have something resembling lecture notes but no clue what I want to talk about in "discussion." Oh yeah, it's October.
The BIG talk with Dr. Gorgeous tomorrow, along with cd 11 monitoring. Stay tuned.

Two hours later: seriously, you need to try this tea. Because either I'm crazy (possible), suffering from the placebo effect (possible), or this tea is like drinking valium. Or having acupuncture. It's Tulsi Sweet Rose by Organic India. Check it out. That's my public service announcement for the day. And now I need to (calmly) walk to my next class. Namaste.
Did you make the soup? Is it a recipe you will share?
ReplyDeleteYes. And yes. Later :)
ReplyDeleteGlad the tea was calming and that you are back in the swing of things this term. Mostly, though, I'm glad the funk has lifted -- you had me worried.
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny. I think I will try that tea. I've been very stressed lately. I'd say a 7 out of 10 on my stress scale. All during Yoga today I kept stressing about all the crap I had to do when I left.
ReplyDeleteI hope the talk gives you some answers and helps with the plan going forward. Nothing I hate more than not having a plan. I'm glad you're doing a bit better. (I was the one who commented about honoring the sadness.) One thing I like about your blog (and about sprogblogger too) is that you have this great sense of self-awareness and irony and wit.
How did class go? I find that sometimes my best classes are ones that I haven't fully thought out (okay, rare, but it does happen...rare that it works well, that is).
Thanks so much for this comment, Rebecca. I really appreciate it. Class went fine; yes, I often find that when I need to come up with a fairly spontaneous plan things go better than when I "overprepare." Still, I don't like the feeling! What's your field?
