- I seem to be out of the major funk. I think it's highly possible that this improvement is nothing more than the temporary chemical shift of my body being overtaken by E2 (everything's better on estrogen!), but it's a gift not to be in the bad place nonetheless. We'll see how long it lasts.
- Acupuncturist #2 gave me the name of a tea, which I'd tried at her office, which is wonderful. It's got rose petals in it, and is super calming. (Unfortunately it also has chamomile in it, which I am, I believe, desperately allergic to, so I suspect that the calming effects are counterbalanced by the histamine effects, but still probably a good thing once a day.)
- The intractable headache seems to be gone. I'm sure my liver is thankful to have a day I only took tylenol.
- My mother's here and took LG for the day, which enabled me to go grocery shopping to buy tea and other low-inflammatory foods and also make a dent in the ever growing stack of student papers. I've done 50, I think, since Wednesday and have about 15 to go.
- To the best of my knowledge, I have not yet ovulated. Which I was worried about given my minimalist approach to luteal estrace, coupled with all this post-acupuncture ovarian popping. I've got follicles, people. How many I won't venture to guess, but there's something going on in there. Holy crap, am I estrogeny right now.

I'm glad you are feeling better. I hope it's not only because of the E2. Sounds like the acupuncturist had some interesting thoughts. I'm curious about the DHEA-S testing, as I don't know much about that. sending you good energy/wishes, Kristina
ReplyDeleteI love estrogen
ReplyDeleteKristina, I've been on supplementary DHEA-S for about 3 months; my RE already cut my dose because my own level was getting too high. The acu. thought it might be time to check things again.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, estrogen's great.
Oh, thanks Gwinne. I looked looked up DHEA-S too and learned some things - I had heard of it for while but was kinda clueless. yes, I concur: yay estrogen! :) I am such a mood slave to my monthly cycle. . .
