If something bad can happen, it will.

I have a 17mm follicle. How that developed on birth control is beyond me. Dr. Gorgeous had me start lupron anyway (so I'm currently on BCP, estrogen, and lupron), and we'll recheck on Thursday to see if it's shrinking. I asked the ultrasound tech what would happen if it didn't go away; she said they always do. I suppose what I should have asked is what if it doesn't go away in a timely fashion?

You know, I'm not (yet) freaking out, even though I know multiple people whose cycles were cancelled/postponed due to cysts. There are many things that I expect to go wrong with this cycle, but not getting started is not one of them.
