Small Good Things (9w1d)

1. It is 22 hours before my next ultrasound and I have not completely lost it.  Please understand that that does not mean that I actually believe there's a live baby in my uterus.  But I'd really like to be done with the Reign of Terror.
2. The belly continues to astonish me.  This morning I squished myself into the black pants I couldn't wear Friday night...and I just had to unbutton them.  I did think to throw the band into my backpack, so at least my pants won't fall down...
3. After a lot of back-and-forthing with various administrators, it looks like I will be teaching this summer.  I told myself I'd be okay with either outcome (it's basically time vs. money) but, really, we could use the money for home repairs and a trip to NY. 
4. I took LG out for ice cream yesterday, after a day of yard work and quiet.
5. Until I am otherwise notified, I'm nine weeks pregnant.  Wow.  Really, what else is there to say?
