LG did the dishes tonight. I asked her to rinse them and put them in the dishwasher, and she asked me if she could scrub the pots, too. Ummm...yes, please.
Now if she would only put away the toys strewn all over her bedroom...
Wow, you must be doing something right! When I was that age, I HATED doing the dishes and felt tortured when my mom and dad would make me do them by myself. Congrats, both on your parenting and on her awesomeness! :)
Thanks, Kristina! If it were an everyday thing she wouldn't do it, or she'd whine about it. She likes novelty when it comes to chores, and prefers to "help" me rather than take care of her own stuff. But whatever keeps me from hunching over at the sink right now is a good thing!!
