Tiny Boy is crying in his crib. (And playing with that fisher price aquarium thing)
He went to bed, easily, around 7:00. I nursed him at 9:30. And 11:00 something. And 1:00. And 2:00, at which point I brought him into bed with me. And then 3:00, when I gave him Tylenol and teething tablets. And rocked him. And burped him (because really wouldn't you have a belly ache if you ate that much?). And then I rubbed his back in the crib. And rocked him again, at which point he started fighting me.
I have no fucking idea what to do.
Sigh.

It will pass... I promise. It's a bitch when you are going through it, but it gets better.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs...
Poor you and him! My sister is a big proponent of gripe water...is that an acceptable solution these days?
ReplyDeleteLove,
Maddy
Poor both of you! It sounds like he's overtired ... but sometimes I don't think there IS anything we can do to soothe them. Sometimes it just sucks to be an infant. :(
ReplyDeleteI hope it got better, and that you both got some rest ...
This is heartbreaking. Geez little dude! Give mama a break here. So, totally off my rocker here (ha) feel free call me an idiot, but have you tried bouncing on a pilates/birthing ball? When E gets outta hand and over tired, it seems the only thing that gets her attention is side to side very high bounces on that ball. I was way too cheap to buy a rocker glider, so the bounce is my go to.
ReplyDeleteAgain, I am certain that you've tried everything. I am just hoping there's something magical left out there to try.
