I am waiting for the hospital to call with instructions for Tiny Boy's surgery tomorrow.
I gave them my cellphone number, which only about 10 people on the planet have and no one, barring emergencies, ever uses anymore. Dr. Gorgeous's office used to call it all the freaking time.
It's 2:20, and I'm supposed to hear before 5:00, and I'm already feeling anxious.
I spent about three years of my life in this same exact state of anxiety. I don't like it one bit.
And it's really too bad that once again my trip to Hip University Town will not involve a stop at Whole Foods, the best deli on the planet, or a visit to Best Professor Friend's house.
