Random Bullets of Life while TTC

• My ovaries are lame. I'm not sure whether it's the effect of the pregnancy estrogen or the supplementary estrogen or both, but there is NOTHING going on in there. So I took extra Femara. Back for ultrasound and consult on Monday (cd 11).
• I finish antibiotics tomorrow. That's good, as my pg lining is still shedding. So if there was an infection, it will be wiped out and gone before the lining begins to regenerate.
• I did manage to get things done yesterday. Wrote a couple pages toward the essay, worked through a collection related to the essay, paid my bills, ran some errands. And I read Zerubavel's The Clockwork Muse, in a somewhat desperate attempt to inspire myself. Of the books-to-motivate-professors genre, I like this one the best. Didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, but it also didn't assume that I was a childless social scientist.
• On the above: I need to map out a work schedule, with actual (if self-imposed)deadlines, for the rest of the summer. I hope my ovaries are compliant.
• I think it's time for lunch.
