So last night I put LG to bed, as usual, at 7:45. And she called me at 8:15. And 9:00. And 9:50 (when I was getting ready for bed).
Finally I gave her some rice milk, sat down on the edge of her bed, and asked if she was thinking about something that was keeping her up.
Yes, Mommy.
Surely, I thought, this would be big: she wants a baby sister or she was upset about fighting with her friend or she was worried about going back to school or she was mad at me for taking the junk on her floor and putting it in a laundry basket in the basement. For those of you who aren't yet mothers to verbal children: you never know what's going to come out of their mouths!
Mary Poppins.
Sheesh. Goodnight, LG.
Do you know what keeps Toddlerina up at night?
