- Oh, the belly. I mean, if you'd never met me you probably wouldn't be able to see it with my clothes on. But I found myself at a school event last night, bella banded, as I was unable to zip the last of my zippable work pants, and I was sure that everyone could tell. There's an unquestionable bump there. But that's got to mean Peanut's growing right?
- It's actually springy today. LG and I walked/scootered to the park and then I dropped her at a friend's on the way back. Goodness abounds.
- Potato chips. Apparently midwives recommend them for nausea. And apparently they work. (Yes, I'm really truly nauseated! Must clean the cat box before I hurl!)
- I just plowed through Cormac McCarthy's The Road and loved it. Now I'm on T.C. Boyle's The Women, which is about Frank Lloyd Wright. Reading fiction just because I want to? Yahoo!
- Chicken sausage at the grocery store for LG. Which is good because she eats it, and I really can't stomach anything resembling a meat product. Lentil soup, asparagus, and fruit will suit me just fine.

yea! for the cute baby belly!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about meat and pregnancy?!? I can't even look at any kind, and the smell of it sends me running to the bathroom in a fit of gagging.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely looking into a bella band, I can't afford a whole new wardrobe!
Your good things are making me smile today!
ReplyDeleteI read a little about 'The Road,' and you are a brave soul! The word 'harrowing' kept coming up in reviews. Yay for bumps and potato chips!
