No, that's not really a rhetorical question.
First there were the bats and the rabies shots.
And then there was the Ceiling Fan Incident of 2012.
And then last night Tiny Boy didn't stop puking so the resident on call told us to head to the ER in case he was dehydrated. (Perhaps we should have been given anti-nausea medication before we left the recovery room?) We were there until nearly 2:00 am.
How about that plan to SLEEP after surgery?
He's on another fake walk with Gram and I'm going to see about a nap for myself. Not really how I'd planned to spend my first official day on sabbatical.

Ugh. So very sorry. Is he feeling better now?
ReplyDeleteThat ER is no bueno. Poor fella, the anti nausea meds would have, you know, been too logical. So re-re-re-expressing my fond wishes for non-medical emergency sleep to fall upon the household like a cozy blanket of calm. You are all due a break from drama.
ReplyDeleteOh man, I am so sorry. I do hope he is feeling better and that his recovery from here on in is smooth and nausea free.
ReplyDeletePoor little guy.
I hope that this is the last of the crises and that things are smooth sailing from here on in!
oh no! poor guy.
ReplyDeleteBad things come in 3s, so you should be done now.
Oh my. that does not sound like a fun time at all. For anyone involved.
ReplyDeleteHope you've all been able to rest at this point, and that TB is on the mend.
Oh, poor all of you! I'm so glad that he came through the surgery ok, but so annoyed that they didn't think to give him a little something to forestall this unpleasant evening.
