Tiny Boy has just been so sick. And losing weight (as if a not-yet-18-lb 14 month old can afford to lose weight) and not eating anything other than mama-ba.
Last night, he woke up around the time I was going to sleep and he didn't stand up and cry like he usually does. He just sat there and said mama in the tiniest, most pathetic little voice.

Poor Tiny Boy--here's hoping that the docs can get a handle on this and get him healthy. Sick baby is no fun for anyone, but he's had more than his share this year! (And so have you!) Hoping for a healthier 2013 for you all.

ReplyDeleteOh no! Poor Tiny Boy! G lost weight when she got a really bad cold and ear infection in December. When she was better she ate solids like she never had before (literally). We couldn't feed her enough. I think they make up for it when they're feeling better.

ReplyDeleteNot sure whether this is relevant to what he has, but they've been going gangbusters here in the media about the flu and how this year's strain is really severe and how vulnerable the very young are - I can't tell from your last few posts when Tiny Boy last saw a doctor, but if he doesn't improve soon, it might be prudent to take him to the ER...just as a precaution in case he needs IV fluids. (I know that is probably the last thing you wanted to hear, but it's just been all over the news here....)

Oh my lord. The whole thing is so awful already (the utter endlessness of it, the impossibility of having any kind of life, professional or personal) and now he adds in the pathetic "mama"? SOB! We are all sick here as well, and I am just begging spring to come.

ReplyDeleteMaddy...yeah, he's seen the ped twice in the past week and will go again on Friday. He's definitely not WELL hydrated right now, but not excessively dehydrated either. But oy, yes, it's scary with these bitty folks.
