I've had some really sucky Thanksgivings. Like the one when I was turning 30 and going through what felt like the longest miscarriage in human history.
But today? My kids got to play with their cousin (another IVF baby). And I drank a lot wine and ate some good food (and thanks, Mom, for trying to get gluten free stuffing, even though I didn't eat). And as soon as everyone goes home--I'm sitting in the dark while Tiny Boy tries to fall asleep--I'm going to read or watch something on TV and just be.
