And the winning number is...

11.4

Which means I ovulated when I thought I did.

At least I know with absolute certainty that I'm on the downslide to cycle #4. Now I'm hoping for cd 1 on Sat or Sun, so I can get in a baseline sono.

  1. Hi! I came over from Lost and Found. I'm so sorry to hear about your cancelled cycle. Having gone through two cancelled IVF's this year due to poor response, I can certainly sympathize. I have that dominant follicle issue. I don't know what your protocol was, but we have found (through 3 tries) the estrogen priming/antagonist protocol to be the most effective. I'm starting stims today for my 4th try.

I completely get wanting to start again ASAP, and I hope you get some success with your next try.

  3. Thanks so much for your comment, PJ! I'm doing IUI, not IVF. Took 25 mg Clomid cd 3-7 (which is a protocol that worked for me the first time I was ttc). The issue was I knew I surged on cd 8, but my RE insisted it was a false positive on the OPK due to the clomid. Kept going through repeat sonograms until he *finally* listened and tested my progesterone. I was right. He was wrong. I only wish I'd had a sono on cd 7 to know how large the follicle was; in previous cycles, I've had mature follicles that early (though usually not until cd 10). Best wishes on IVF #4!
