Hot. Tired. Bruised.

Here at un-airconditioned Chez Gwinne it is HOT. I actually broke down and turned on the window unit in my room for a few hours and might even go so far as to put LG down for the night in my bed (seems to happen every time there's a major weather occurrence). It has occurred to me that being 81 degrees is not exactly the "controlled room temperature" that my Fragmin shots should be kept at. Even the Prometrium is getting all melty.

So, in short, I'm hot, tired, bruised, and mildly crabby, though I did see my massage therapist today (yay!) and she managed to work out the Spot of Evil that hides under my shoulder blade (happens when I grade/write by hand or use the computer for long periods of time).

In other news: I have made actual progress on my article, and plan to have a solid, can-be-read-by-others draft by next week and a final, sent-out version by the time fall rolls around. Tomorrow, I go to campus to fetch books from the library, water my probably-dead plant, pick up my annual review letter (yikes!), and attend my first PhD student's dissertation defense.

In a mere ten days I will be either pregnant or starting BCP for my IVF cycle. This summer is spinning by...

Yuck- that is hot inside. I dont know what I'd do without air conditioning anymore. I grew up in the south without it but now I'm a grown up whinybaby!
