Nurse consult this morning, to go over my calendar and have infectious disease testing done (you know you've been in treatment too long when your results "expire.")
The first glitch in my marvelous plan? Apparently I didn't ask exactly the right question, which I thought was so no microdose lupron, right? because there it was on my calendar, just like it was last time, a day after stopping Ganirelix. Been there, done that, will not ever return. Now, I think it's only half the dose I was on last time which would at least be a step in the right direction. But it is not the antagonist-only protocol I thought I signed up for. And this might be the moment when I say to Dr. Gorgeous, whom I really do adore, take it out of my protocol because I won't take it anyway. I'm not going near that shit again.
I would totally call Dr G and tell her that!!! It's your body, after all...
ReplyDeleteI've got a consult scheduled to discuss it. From what I've been reading, there might be a good reason she wants me on it, but I'd like to hear that from her. And then I'd still ask to be on a lower dose and use it for fewer days.
