Small Good Things (day 47)

1. I was feeling frantic about driving to Dr. Gorgeous's (in the snow!) and spending the bulk of my day away from my desk. And the receptionist called to reschedule. (The unfortunate part of that is apparently Dr. G had a death in the family, for which I am truly sorry. The other unfortunate part is that I won't get to do my Implantation Freakout conversation before this cycle is underway. But perhaps I'm better off without it.)
2. I took care of multiple small, annoying things before 9:00 this morning, including paying bills, calling the credit card company, and changing my hotel reservation for the weekend. Gosh insomnia is nice ;)
3. I should have time to comment on some of those papers trickling in (again, thanks to #1).
4. I rescheduled with the acupuncturist to see her before the conference.
5. I don't need the heat turned up quite as much, what with the hot flashes and all. (Someone explain to me why menopausal women take Estrace to deal with hot flashes, and it causes them in women with normal estrogen levels.)
