- LG "helped me" clean, largely by not hindering my progress. Hilariously, I overheard her tell one of her friends we can only take one project out at a time--I spent ALL DAY cleaning the house. Okay, Cinderella.
- All the kids seemed to have a good time. No one cried. And there was only one real incident of pouting, from the neighbor child. I'm especially grateful that LG invited the little girl who is clearly the deathly shy eye-glass-wearing nerd of the bunch (if there can be nerds in kindergarten) because LG needs to have sweet friends, too, not just fashionistas.
- The mom of the the six-year-old who stayed to help. I sort of expected the parents of little ones to stay (they did) and didn't mind that the big ones got dropped off, but, it was nice having another set of hands.
- As far as I can tell, nothing in my house got ruined.
- The cat survived having that many people over. I survived having that many people over. Now I'm watching a movie and going to bed.
