There's a lot about early toddlerdom NOT to like. The crappy sleep. The refusal to cooperate during diaper changes. The biting and hitting. The WHINING.
But when the small person hears a BIRD outside, really hears it, and starts saying something like "deet deet," well, that pretty much makes up for the rest of it.
And blowing me kisses at bedtime, well, that's not so bad either.
