Consult with Dr. Gorgeous today, ostensibly to talk about the use of the hybrid protocol. Which she nixed as soon as we actually started talking. The new plan is to stick with Femara, trying it days 2-6 (instead of 3-7) and adding Estrace at the end of my cycle in order to prevent the dominant follicle from being selected so darn early. We also agreed to do two more cycles and then talk about IVF. It's *great* to be on the same page with my doctor.
Given the size of the follicle on Saturday (almost 13 mm at day 3!), I asked if we might to an ultrasound today. Follicle ready to go, lining slightly underdeveloped. So..after a frantic call to the cryobank (and another $75) I'm triggering tonight, having an IUI on Thursday, and will likely start Estrace tonight to deal with the lining. Good times.
