- Not so small, actually: I GOT MY WALLET BACK. Now, the crazy thing is I called this establishment to ask if they'd found it on Thursday, when I realized it was missing. They said, no, presumably after checking the lost and found. Got a call from the manager today, as she was going through the weekly loot. According to the log, they'd had it since last *Tuesday* which is the day I lost it. So, totally great that they had it and the manager took the time to look up my phone number and call me. Totally annoying that I had to cancel three credit cards and get a new driver's license, all of which could have been avoided. I'm choosing to focus on the positive.
- Taking a pedal boat ride with our out of town guests (yay for L and E!).
- Checking out Alice Domar's books from the library. (I'm finding Conquering Infertility a bit too heavy on the couples talk--unless the tack changes later, it completely assumes one is in a heterosexual marriage if one is having a baby--but still I like the gist of it so far. I'm going to read it on my porch momentarily. Dr. Gorgeous would be so proud.)
- Lebanese food. I thought the lentil and rice soup I made was good; the stuff at the restaurant? Out of this world.
- Good talks with L. We've been friends for 22 (?!) years. She brings out the zen.
