- Blueberries! We made it to the blueberry farm, along with some friends. If I have the energy, I'm making a berry crisp tonight. And LG wants blueberry pancakes for breakfast (almost good enough to give up my wheat-free diet!).
- LG went to bed tonight at 6:50. Now, it's not really that I *like* my child going to bed before 7:00, but she needs 11.5-12 hrs of sleep or she turns into a raving lunatic. This past week she's been pushing bedtime later and later. Maybe she's starting to need less sleep. Maybe she's an insomniac like me, I don't know. But I am so glad she's finally going to get a decent night's sleep, the first in about a week.
- A new session of swimming lessons started today for LG. I always bring a book, which I'm quite happy to read. But I spent the entire time chatting with a professor from another department, whose son has been enrolled in various activities with LG. We've never really socialized outside of these kid events, but we probably should.
- Not needing to drive to the clinic for an 8:30 ultrasound.
- Having an entire evening to myself, which is not unrelated to #2. I am not going to sweep the floors, clean the bathroom, or do a single load of laundry. All that stuff can wait until tomorrow. Instead, I'm going to nurse The Headache and watch Private Practice on Hulu. I'll watch anything with Amy Brenneman.
