Lest I leave you all hanging in my moment of dread, let me give you the morning's report.
Lining: pretty much nonexistent, as it should be after a heavy period, two weeks on the pill, spotting, and another period (I have to wonder, where is all that blood coming from?)
AFC: 8, which is crappy, but not the crappiest it's ever been. (Tally one for there's no fucking reason to ever try IVF again.)
E2 and P4: I didn't ask, but I assume within normal limits, as I've been instructed to start stims tonight. Bring on the estrogen.
Congrats on what sounds like decent situation moving forward with this cycle. Is and AFC of 8 bad? I got that at an RE appt a while back and he said it was so =so - not great but not bad. . .
ReplyDeleteYes, an AFC of 8 is pretty low, particularly for a woman of my age. Advanced Fertility Center's website has info on AFC and other indicators of ovarian reserve.
