First uttered at around 2:00 in the morning, in between hysterical crying fits:
DUH Mama, DUH DUH DUH, Mama
Which, loosely translated means, I'm STUCK YOU IDIOT, I CRAMMED MY LEG IN HERE WHILE TRYING TO ESCAPE SO GET ME THE FUCK OUT BEFORE I DO IT AGAIN.
Sigh.

That made me laugh. For some reason it is way more funny when it's someone else child hysterical and stuck. My son manages to get his foot stuck even with the mesh bumpers (who knows how often they would both be stuck without them?!).
ReplyDeleteWhat may even be worse is the "I am stuck on my stomach because I have developed amnesia when it comes to rolling back over!" screaming that I manage to hear multiple times per night from one or the other or both of mine.
It's a good thing we love those little ones to pieces.
Arrgghhhh! Sleep, Tiny Boy, sleep!
ReplyDeleteoh Tiny Boy, please stop inserting your limbs into small places in your crib and let your mama sleep. But, HURRAY for your new word.
