In somewhat typical fashion, I am honoring my negative pregnancy test with self-destructive behavior. That is to say, ordering a pizza, which I plan to chase with every migraine medicine in my arsenal (because I will need it and because I *can*) and watching TV for the remainder of the evening. I am not doing the dishes. I am not doing anything resembling work. And I am not going to break down and cry, because I might never stop.
Tomorrow I will call my RE, wrap my head around doing injectables (has it come to that already?!), and get DNA specimens and prescriptions ordered. I will get manuscripts in the mail and write. Life goes on.
Sorry this cycle appears to be a bust. Take care of you.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the negative.
ReplyDeleteSorry, hon. I'm there with ya. Taking a break for awhile has helped me. Good luck with the RE!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the good wishes, everyone. I adore my RE, so I'm looking forward to the visit; it became readily apparent to the nurse that my questions were too big for her to handle...too bad it's falling so late in the cycle.
ReplyDeleteHere again from the LFCA. So sorry about the news. You do pizza - I do Twizzlers. Whatever works!
ReplyDeleteHugs to you.
I'm so sorry. I wish that didn't sound so inqdequate. I totally recommend drowning in beautiful pizza and mind numbing (hopefully) TV. I usually deal with drowning in caffeine and something with 70% cocoa in it, like dark chocolate. The ugly post-BFN binge. But whatever works, works. No excuses.
ReplyDeleteLife does go on. But its okay to cry. Because you CAN.
Lots of hugs, don't know you, but know what a BFN feels like many times over. It sucks a whole new level of ass.
xx
