First, let me say I'm THRILLED that this retrieval is actually happening. I want to say the follicles were something like 13.5, 15, 16, 16, 17, 18, 20, but I might be misremembering. E2 this morning topped out at 2132.
Now here's the plan, which has me a bit crabby. Retrieval Thursday at 2:15 pm.
7:00 pm tonight: Menopur and Ganirelix
2:15 am: 2 Ovidrel shots (yeah, it's great to make an insomniac wake up in the middle of the night)
9:00 am: bloodwork appointment (which they will not let me do locally, so I'm driving 45 minutes each way so they can do a beta and tell me not to eat before the retrieval)
10:20 am: my first class :)
But don't you worry, blogfriends, I will do everything I am supposed to. Exactly.
Wow. Those times are... better you than me, my friend.
ReplyDeleteBut:
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Middle of the night injections. That's just mean! I'm hoping that you will get some sleep and for a good retrieval!
ReplyDeleteSorry about those late night shots and the tight schedule. I hope it will all be worth it! You called it - two weeks behind me. Thursday will be a special day for both of us!
ReplyDeleteOh and FWIW, the way I remember my follicle sizes is after my scans, my stats are left on the screen in the room. I just take a picture of the screen with my cell phone or jot the sizes down.
I've got my fingers crossed that if I check blogs after retrieval, there will be some good news on your end!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell yay! I'm so excited for you!
ReplyDeleteI had to move the earth and several planets to get someone to cover my class these next three days for monitoring appointments. People just don't realize what a pain that is!
That is one LATE trigger shot! Geez!
Good luck!!!
Here from LFCA to wish you the best of luck with your retrieval.
ReplyDeleteEek about getting up in the middle of the night! Fingers crossed!!!
