Question about Hormone Levels

Does anyone know what progesterone and estradiol levels are supposed to be, post-transfer? All I was told was that mine are great. Estradiol was 800-something and progesterone >60.

Which explains why all I want to do is nap.

I'm holding out until Thursday to call and ask about taking Estrace (which I'd need to do if this fails and I want to cycle in November). Good thoughts. Sticky embryo thoughts...

  1. The site I use for reference as it often matches my doc's numbers (http://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/hormonelevels.html) doesn't give E2 levels post-transfer, but that definitely sounds great to me. And I know that the P4 level sounds great - on a medicated cycle (or IVF - any time progesterone is introduced), my doc wants at least a 20. Your body's workin' it!

  2. So what's making you sleepy? Is it the progerstrone or the estrogen? Were you sleepy at the end of stims? I am exhausted.

About your previous post... I completely know what you mean. I sat through two meetings this week in which I could care less about. I'm just trying to get through each day. I've totally ditched this steering committee thing that I'm supposed to be doing.

Hey, are you doing heparin shots this time too? If so, did you start them on the day of your transfer?

  3. PJ, Dr. Gorgeous had me start heparin 4 days after retrieval (which was 1 day after transfer). It's the progesterone that knocks me out...
