I never had PIO, but used the prometrium suppositories, and would get my period about 2-3 days after stopping. Good luck with the next IUI!!! www.rachelbk.wordpress.com
Well, I'm already spotting, so I'm going to assume my cycle will start sooner rather than later. Prometrium doesn't ordinarily delay my cycle by more than a day (if that!) so I'm wondering if the PIO will have a greater effect.
I think it all depends on your progesterone and estrogen levels, but mine were both pretty high, and as a result it took a while (4-5 days) after stopping all meds before AF made her ugly way to me.
When I stopped it without being pregnant, it took 3 or 4 days for my period to start, if I remember correctly.
ReplyDeleteI hope that's true for me as well; it would work a lot better in terms of the rest of my life! Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI started on the third day after stopping PIO. Hope it works out well for you.
