And now for the update: the cyst is still there (same exact size as it was a week ago) but my E2 level continues to drop (down to 63). One more day of Ganirelix, and then I think she's letting me start the cycle. Although it's not entirely clear to me if that means start as IVF and see what happens or just assume it's a Follistim IUI. But yeah, 18 antral follicles (my highest in a year has been 12) and things are still popping like crazy in there (have I mentioned I've been on Ganirelix for a week already?). I guess that means the DHEA is doing something right because I have no other explanation. This is good, right? This is really good, right?
Have I said that IVF turns me into a raving lunatic? Poor A.

ReplyDeleteHoly shit. 18??? wow. Good that the E2 levels are dropping; at least this cysts has stopped doing too much and is now more just taking up space. Still annoying, but less critical.

ReplyDeleteI think the ultrasound tech might be on crack. My favorite should be back tomorrow....I'll see how she does the numbers. But, yeah, 18! A little different from the 5 I had in June!
