- The cookies were a hit with Dr. Gorgeous's staff. Spread the holiday cheer!
- The receptionist thinks my absentmindedness--I left my credit card there--is a sign of pregnancy brain to come. I told her it was probably just the Ovidrel :)
- Dr. Gorgeous is quite pleased with how this cycle turned out. And she's hopeful that it might actually work. She called herself the eternal optimist, but that's certainly not the no-nonsense RE I have come to know. She's only said this about two of my cycles, one of which did result in a pregnancy.
- She's even more hopeful that I'll fall on the good side of the statistics if it comes to DE, as I have good prognostic indicators (that would basically be LG's existence) despite RPL. But because I'm a paranoid freak she also said we'll do Lovenox and low dose steroids.
- They hauled out the powder blue bathrobe and the space heater for my IUI. And Dr. Gorgeous was wearing the same exact outfit she was when I met her two years ago (to the day, people). There's something about all this symmetry that feels right. But I've got my big packet of donor egg info if I need it...

Oh it all sounds PERFECT! Like a dream IUI! Crossing my fingers and toes for you, Gwinne!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Maddy
Good luck starting the wait! It sounds like great timing and good signs.
ReplyDeleteI definitely have that superstitious side to me too, and it all bodes well in my book. Take all the magic you can get!
ReplyDeleteIn addition to my sheer incredulity that you can remember someone else's outfit from 24 months ago, I'm really excited for you! It certainly sounds like the planets are aligned, and I am hoping hard!
ReplyDeleteWell, I've seen Dr. G on the third Thursday in December three years running, and they must have a holiday party or something that day, as she's worn the same darn thing. This particular outfit is rather festive, including a red plaid skirt with ruffles :)
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping that this is the magic cycle! Babydust to you. :)
