Small Good Things

  1. It's snowing! It's snowing! It's snowing! Just a small powdered sugar dusting of winter announcing its immanent arrival. Too bad I still haven't raked the yard or mowed the lawn...
  2. My neighbor's teahouse? The best grading spot I've found. The options are the coffeeshop with the fountain and so-so coffee (which is close to home), the coffeeshop with the pastries and best decaf ever (which is all the way across town), and the teahouse, which offers things like "Immune Tea" and all kinds of homemade goodies. And it's a-buzz with students working and chatting. It's also a good 25 minute walk from home. Which I did. In the snow.
  3. Acupuncture went okay yesterday. She kept the energy chat to an absolute minimum. And I left blissed out, rather than keyed up.
  4. Yoga! I haven't been to yoga class in three weeks. And my home practice has been minimal, mostly because I'm tired. But it was good to be back.
  5. The acupuncturist told me I need to keep my feet warm. (Cold hands and feet = cold uterus.) So I've cracked out the ancient heating pad and put it on my feet while I'm typing or watching TV or doing anything sedentary. Pretty nice, eh?

  2. I'm under a down blanket at the moment, and your heating pad on the feet sounds heavenly.

  3. Hmmm... the heating pad at the feet sounds lovely but if I did that I would have a cat on top of my feet as well making it too hot :)
