Limbo, with a twist

(or it is never what you expect)

Oh, it gets weirder and weirder. So yesterday I had what looked like day-before-the-surge on the OPK. Today, the line was lighter, rather than darker. Oh-kay.

What I learned at the office:
lining--3 mm (yeah...I'm still bleeding)
LO--13 mm, 11 mm
RO--6 mm
P4--0.55 (which means I'm not even close to ovulating)

Now the plan is repeat P4 and ultrasound before hysteroscopy on Monday. And if those two bigger follicles both develop....I think I might be in business for an IUI later in the week (Wednesday? Thursday?). I know enough not to be surprised by anything that happens on Monday. But for now...holy shit.

So, friends, how bad would it be for me to take a little Follistim?

  1. Because life isn't confusing enough? I hope your body does what it issupposed to do generally when it should be doing it.

Hmmm on the follistim. Could it potentially make you mature and ovulate earlier a(which could screw up the IUI timing?) I'm too chicken not to do exactly what I'm told

  2. I, on the other hand, am almost incapable of doing what I'm told. But given that I was prepared for this IUI not to happen at all (and won't do it if there's only one follicle)...not sure what damage I could possibly do. Of course, we'll see tomorrow...
