It's summer. I'm not teaching. There's a lot that I should do. For work. Around the house. But I can't bring myself to do much of anything today. Oh, sure, I wrote my minimum daily requirement. I went to the library to check out some books. I did an hour or so of yard work. I cleaned the bathroom. I made a cursory list of donors for which I'd like to receive some more information.
I still have 2.5-3 hours before I pick up LG. I can't quite bring myself to do what I probably need to do, which is indulge myself with a few hours of reading on the porch. I'm tired. I'm out of sorts (I suspect someone else might describe this sensation as depressed). I just don't know what to do anymore. About infertility. And everything else.
I hope you're reading on the porch right now. It sounds like the right thing to do today.
ReplyDeleteClean out your closet? That's a mind-numbing, productive, time-consuming task that tends to help set me more close to right, or at least divert my attention away for a little while.
