Still wavering

Well, follicles are still growing, albeit very s-lo--o-ow-ly. Today's scan: 11, 14, 16 (all on the left). I've asked the nurses to ask Dr. Gorgeous if (a) she thinks I should go ahead with this, given hysteroscopy on the one hand and the slim possibility of three follicles on the other and (b) if so, may I please use Follistim to make sure this happens (because I have no willpower, apparently).

IUI #12 on Friday? Have I said that that is the exact same conception date as last year's May baby that wasn't?

I'm still really crampy. Like post-D&C crampy. I might need to ask about that, too.

I'm so conflicted, people. Tell me what to do...

  1. Gwinne... I remember you from the smc-ttc list... stumbled on your blog from another one last summer.

It's a tough call. At one point I was convinced I only had good eggs in May/June.
    Good luck whatever you decide

  2. Hey, Margie. Yes, good to hear from you! Well, I've gotten pregnant twice in May, so I certainly understand that sentiment. Leaning heavily toward trusting bodily wackiness and giving it a shot. Definitely wasting eggs seems like a worse idea than possibly wasting donor specimens.

Are you blogging? I'll stop by...

  3. Hi!
I am not currently blogging. Started several times but never stuck to it.

I would definitely worry about wasting eggs. I hope you haven't ovulated yet, but it's possible one went and you still have the others...
