- Apparently Nurse of the Everchanging Nickname took the freakout of epic proportions seriously and did, as I requested, write in my chart that I require actual information. New Nurse left me a message today that included the donor's E2 level, p4 level, every follicle size, and her endometrial thickness (which, if New Nurse knew anything, is completely fucking irrelevant, but I'll take it anyway). She forgot to tell me when the donor is slated to trigger, but I'm guessing purely based on follicle sizes (her largest is only at 17, with the second largest at 15.5) that retrieval will be on Sunday. Her E2 level was over 3900 so there's something to work with in there.
- Generic Lovenox? Who knew? My insurance might not cover much when it comes to fertility, but I'll take the drug coverage. I haven't actually done the math, but I think I got prometrium, estrace, PIO, ambien, lovenox, folgard, lupron, and more needles than I know what to do with all for under $200 total.
- Season 6 of Weeds on DVD! In my mailbox! The very first day my Netflix membership was restarted! Tonight, it's going to be me, a heating pad, and the laptop in bed.
- I ate the best wheat-and-dairy free brownie in the world this afternoon.
- I made it through February. Now I just have to make it through March.

And by the end of March there is a really good chance that you will be pregnant!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are some very good things indeed - and a brownie on top of it all! Things are looking up!

Excellent news, and I love that they told you her endometrial thickness! That's what happens when you ask for *actual* information as opposed to useful or relevant information!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what "best wheat-and-dairy free brownie" could possibly mean, but I'm highly suspicious.
Ha! Suspicious that the brownie was free of wheat and dairy or suspicious that it was the best?
ReplyDeleteIt was good. Really truly. I might need to buy another one. I might need to bake cookies. I'm still working on that gaining 3-5 pounds project...
Suspicious of what exactly is a baked good without wheat and dairy. Sounds like you should be eating whole avocados (for weight gain).
