- Beta=259. Which is not the number I needed to feel confident, but it does mean I'm not (yet) headed down miscarriage lane.
- Apparently there is a certain kind of paper that smells disgusting (at least to certain pregnant women).
- My breasts hurt like hell.
- I have that tired/nauseous/off-kilter feeling I only associate with early pregnancy.
- I decided the beta did not warrant spending another $10 on pee sticks. I'm pregnant, people. Isn't that wild?
- [A bonus I just remembered: I'm not sure if she's indulging her own paranoia or mine, but I didn't even need to ask and Dr. G requested a date change on my first ultrasound to two days earlier. That is, next Tuesday, 5w2d. And now, if it goes to hell, I can still go to therapy on Thursday.]

Oh that's wonderful. Pregnant Gwinne. Life is good.
ReplyDeleteIt may not be the number you needed to feel comfortable, but it's a definite doubling over Saturday's beta! Whoop!
ReplyDeleteWell, hell, *I'm* comfortable with that number! Awesome news. Positively awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet number! O Happy Day!
ReplyDeleteKeeping you in my thoughts!
Love,
Maddy
Good on you for skipping the pee sticks. That's a great number if you ask me. :D
ReplyDeleteGreat, great news.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I am going to pick up the Target off brand ones tomorrow.
You are better than me.
Great news!
onwards and upwards! Someday I should tell you about my pee-dilution experiments, which were my effort to turn pee-sticks in to a quantitative measurement and estimate doubling in between betas... I have some amazing excel spreadsheets and a bag full of pee sticks
